You can now add additional users to your hellotax software account and multiple users can benefit from the tool at the same time. Use this as a tool for your clients or invite co-workers, accountants, or whoever you want to – directly in the software. As usability has always been an important key factor when designing our services, we made this process as easy as possible!

In order to facilitate a positive teamwork between you as an online seller or you as our partner and other involved parties (employees, tax advisors, etc.), we “open” our software accounts for additional users.
Who can benefit from the VAT tool multi-user access?
The multi-user access is useful for you, whether you are an online seller or our partner. If you use the hellotax VAT tool for your own online business you can now add your own tax accountant, your employees, or your business partners. You can decide who can see which information. Your tax accountant or bookkeeper can access and download your reports and take care of your finances. Furthermore, your employees can access your collected transaction data without input from you.
If you are an Amazon aggregator or tax advisor and one of our partners, you can now use the hellotax VAT tool for your own clients and give your clients access to their own transaction data and reports. Simply add them as new users and change the settings so each client can only see their own reports. hellotax does not have contact with your clients as the reports are created through your account.
How to add new users?
We wanted to make the onboarding process as easy as possible, therefore the adding of new users requires only a few clicks:
- Add a new sub user directly in software (name and email required)
- The added user gets an email to complete the signup process, to edit the name and contact information, and to add a password and phone number
- The account is activated, and the user gets forwarded to the dashboard

You can add as many people as you want and start working together or for your clients directly in your account.
How to manage new users?
The owner of the account can add new people to the software and give them certain access authorizations, depending on the role the new member has. There are 3 access levels to users of the software: View only, Edit and Owner.
View only access can be useful for colleagues and business partners, as well as some types of customers if you are a tax advisor using the VAT tool multi-user access for your clients. In case you clients want to work with you on their filings, you can also add give them Edit access. This type of access is also useful if you are a business owner and want to give your own tax accountant access to the VAT reports hellotax provides you.
Of course, you as the primary user (owner) can manage all other users directly in the software. The new “Manage Users” menu gives you an overview on active and pending users, names, e-mail addresses, account types (e.g. co-worker). These sub-account details as well as the access types can be edited directly in this menu as well.
