You can now add additional users to your hellotax software account and multiple users can benefit from the tool at the same time. Invite co-workers, accountants, or whoever you want to – directly in the software. As usability has always been an important key factor when designing our services, we made this process as easy as possible!

In order to facilitate a positive teamwork between you as an online seller and other involved parties (employees, tax advisors, etc.), we “open” our software accounts for additional users. More people can now access your accout, you decide to what extend and working together is becoming easier and faster.
How to add new users?
We wanted to make the onboarding process as easy as possible, therefore the adding of new users requires only a few clicks:
- Add a new sub user directly in software (name and email required)
- The added user gets an email to complete the signup process and to edit name/email, and to add a password and phone number
- The account is activated, and the user gets forwarded to the dashboard
This new feature shall make your processes faster and the handling of your VAT easier and more efficient! You can add as many people as you want and start working together directly in your account.
How to manage new users?
The owner of the account can add new people to the software and give them certain access authorizations, depending on the role the new member has. There are 3 access levels to users of the software: View only, Edit and Owner.
Of course, you as the primary user (owner) can manage all other users directly in the software. The new “Manage Users” menu gives you an overview on active/pending users, names, e-mail addresses, account types (e.g. co-worker) and these pieces of information, as well as the access types, can directly be edited in this menu as well.
What else changes?
With new integrations, new features and new processes, there always come some other changes. To make things easier, we will deactivate the website accounts and then there is only one account: the the software account. That’s why we ask our clients to download their previous filed VAT returns from their website account now!
De-Acitvation of website account!
hellotax website accounts will be de-activated starting 1st of June 2020. So if you are already a hellotax client, please make sure to download your VAT returns from the website this month.
After 1 June 2020, you will not have access to your hellotax website account anymore and will not be able to download previously filed VAT returns.
Download all previous filed VAT returns from your hellotax website account as soon as possible but by May 31st at the latest!
From now on, please access your VAT returns from the hellotax software account. This is a necessary step, because we want to make the handling of our software even easier and we also want to do so without 2 different accounts for our customers.
Even if we will be uploading a copy of your VAT returns to the hellotax account for the next month until the system is de-activated, we advise accessing them from your hellotax software account as a matter of good practice.
